GRLevel2 Analyst Edition
GRLevel2 Analyst Edition is an advanced Nexrad Level II analysis application. It features a high quality volumetric display and several high resolution reflectivity-derived graphical products in addition to the standard Level II data products.
Volumetric Display
GR2Analyst's volume rendering engine produces high quality semi-transparent and isosurface 3D displays for any of the base Level II data products (reflectivity, velocity, storm relative velocity, and spectrum width):

High Resolution Derived Products
GR2Analyst derives five 2D products from the Level II volume reflectivity: Echo Tops, VIL, VILD, POSH, and MEHS. All are displayed on a high resolution radial grid (1km x 1° x 230km with 256 data levels):

Your graphics hardware must support Shader Model 2.0. GR2Analyst will not run without that support. See below for more system requirements information.
GR2Analyst has two basic license types: individual/non-profit and commercial/professional. Individual licenses are for personal and other non-professional users (universities, county EMAs, NOAA, etc.). Commercial licenses are for professional users (e.g. TV station weather labs, storm chasing companies, forensic meteorologists, insurance companies, military, etc.).

If you purchase an upgrade from GRLevel2, you will be required to enter your old GRLevel2 registration key when registering GR2Analyst.
GR2Analyst supports dual polarization radars and Sigmet's IRIS formatted data files with an additional license. Purchasing this add-on simply allows GR2Analyst to read and process dual polarization data, which is not available as a standard product from the NWS. Currently, only private and research radars supply dual polarization data.

You must purchase and enter a regular GR2Analyst Individual or Commercial registration key before you will be allowed to enter a Dual Pol/IRIS registration key.
Note: all GRS applications are distributed electronically. There is no boxed product. You must allow email from regsoft.com and grlevelx.com through in order to purchase, register, and sign up on the Owner forums. GRS is not responsible for lost electronic key delivery due to "spam blockers" or other email interference applications. GRS will not make special efforts to communicate with you should a "blocked" reply come your email host.
